Yagana, 23, holds one of the wooden frames of her makeshift tent with her daughter whom she was conceived by a Book Haram fighter, in an IDP camp in Maiduguri, Nigeria, April 20, 2019. Yagana was abducted by four Boko Haram fighters in Mafa Local Government in 2014 and taken to the Sambisa Forest. When the Nigerian Military attacked their hideout in 2015, she was rescued by the army and gave birth to a baby in the military detention center in Giwa. As she was forced to leave the secondary school by BH, she wanted to continue her education and took a graduation exam on April 26, 2019.
