
Bahati Safari, 32, an accused man of sexual violence from Masisi Territory, prays during the Sunday service inside Goma's central prison. Bahati, an FARDC (Forces Armes de la Rpublique Dmocratique du Congo) lieutenant, said he did not know the victim, and the victim's family created a lie. He also said that the rape cases are becoming more like a business, pointing out that anyone can accuse anyone for rape, and the Police of Women and Children would arrest them without any evidence. There is no scientific evidences presented in Goma's courts such as DNA or age tests.
